First Medis QFR® reference site in the US!

We have signed an official collaboration agreement with the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital of Brooklyn. This collaboration entails the daily use of Medis QFR® and to further validate and extend the usage of the QFR® application.

The New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is one of the many locations of the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital chain. This hospital is one of the nation’s most comprehensive, integrated academic health care delivery systems, dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care, and service to patients in the New York metropolitan area, nationally and throughout the globe.

The attending interventional cardiologist at NY Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Yuhei Kobayashi, MD: “We are extremely excited to be the first US reference site for QFR® which is a disruptive technology in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This technology by Medis has been extensively validated outside of the US and awaited to be introduced to the US. We believe QFR® technology will transform how we optimally treat patients with coronary artery disease in the laboratory.”

This agreement further accelerates the use of Medis QFR® within the United States and we are very pleased with this collaboration. We would like to thank Dr. Yuhei Kobayashi, MD, Dr Nino Mihatov, MD, and Dr. Manish Parikh, MD, Chief of Cardiology and Head of the Cath labs.
