What will your role be? 

As the Sales Leader for DACH you have two main focus areas, the first is to support and manage the team in the region to achieve their targets. In addition, you will also have you own sales territory and will focus on maximizing our sales and order intake. Of course, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and long term relationships is key for continued profitability in your accounts. You will be accountable for the consolidated (from yourself and your team) sales numbers. 

Your geographic region will include Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and you know who to operate across different countries and cultures. You are able to effectively establish and maintain the customer relationship whereby you are able to operate at multiple levels within the their organization. You will work together with the marketing team to develop and implement local marketing strategies. Together with your colleagues in the other departments, you will ensure the customer is supported as required. Customer feedback is extremely important to us and therefore needs to be provided back to the organization. You are the “Voice of the customer” in this respect. Establishing and maintaining a professional external and internal network are key to the success of this position. This will ensure you stay abreast of the needs and developments in our market. 

Medis often participates in trade shows and you will also be part of the team to attend some of these events. On site you will assist with demonstrations and presentations. Together with the CCO, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a regional sales and channel partner strategy and planning, whereby sales forecasting and reporting of progress is essential. Medis uses Sales Force for these reporting activities. You are a natural leader and work together with 

Human Resources on the talent agenda. You are not afraid to make decisions that involve your customers within the guidelines provided by the company. 

The profile we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a (bio)medical imaging, an IT-related discipline or business administration. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management preferably in Healthcare hospitals, clinics, cardiology) or within a B2B environment Proven track record in complex Medical Device/IT Sales/Account Management 
  • Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful strategies for hospitals 
  • Experience in complex markets and diverse channel structures across multiple countries 

Personal Skills and competences: 

  • Natural leadership and management style 
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, written and verbal, in German and English 
  • Able to represent Medis in all circumstances

Medis. Imaging solutions in a Heartbeat.

What will your role be?
As a part of our Applied Research Department, you will contribute to Medis’ growth Strategy which is aimed at Product Leadership. The team works on innovative research projects towards Deep Learning solutions, that are integrated by the Product Development Team into a Medis product (research or clinical). These amazing products are then sold by our Marketing & Sales team. At the moment we are looking for a Specialist Deep learning to work on either our echocardiography, multi-slice CT, or interventional cardiology product lines. Medis strives to be a product leader in the medical imaging domain and in certain cases our researchers work on a “proof-of-concept” as a study object which in turn helps drive Medis’ longer term technology roadmap.

The topics to work on should be in line with the goals and priorities set in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

  • To develop and enhance automated training and evaluation deep learning pipelines.
  • To set up, train and validate deep learning models working on medical images.
  • To keep up with the international literature on Deep learning techniques
  • To develop innovative, robust, and vendor-independent solutions that will work in daily clinical research & practice
  • To develop algorithms in preferably Python or C++. Using as much as possible standard frameworks like ITK/SimpleITK, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc. The end-result should be portable to a solution that can be integrated into applications built in C++ in a platform independent manner
  • Write maintainable code in Python and participate in code reviews of AR team members
  • To write (system) documentation in English
  • To collaborate with clinical partners for external testing, validation, and feedback on our innovations
  • To incorporate feedback into newer versions of the software
  • To participate in scientific publications of external authors
  • To identify possible subjects for Medis patent applications

When requested to train and educate other members of the AR group on the basics and best practices to start running own DL experiments.

The profile we are looking for:

  • PhD or Master of Science degree in (biomedical) engineering, computer science or electrical engineering (major in imaging)
  • Extensive experience with Deep learning
  • Experience with C++ and/or Python programming language and relevant toolkits

       (for example ITK, VTK, NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow, PyTorch) is an asset

  • Experience with medical applications is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Experience with Agile development is an asset

What will your role be?

  • When requested, participate in Deep Learning (DL) research and applications following the proper training. In these cases:
  • To develop and enhance automated training and evaluation deep learning (DL) pipelines.
  • To set up, train and validate deep learning (DL) models working on medical images.


The profile we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience with image processing, such as image segmentation, registration, etc.
  • Experience with C++ and/or Python programming language and relevant toolkits (such as ITK, VTK, NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow, PyTorch) is an asset

Medis. Imaging solutions in a Heartbeat.

What will your role be?

The Sales Support & Funnel Analyst is managing and processing Order Intake and Sales, proper execution of incoming Purchase Orders and invoicing to and from customers. He/she ensures projects are assigned to the I&S team to execute on these PO’s. Next to that he/she supports the commercial strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on commercial activity and compliance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders to make fact-based sound business decisions. He/she assesses the leading funnel indicators like market coverage, win/loss, funnel forecasting and pricing and supports in case of target deviation the definition of corrective actions.

Key Sales Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process Order intake, including process invoice (to client/file).
  • Generate Projects assigned to I&S with relation to the sales procedures.
  • Manage Demo laptop planning.
  • Manage mailbox: sales@medis.nl and order@medis.nl.
  • Backup for Sales Support & Channel Analyst.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, maintaining the design and controls in the process and subsequently the integrity of the data.
  • Update of Salesforce Price list (max 2x per/year) in CPQ/quoting tool.
  • Maintain Salesforce with respect to entering new product codes and maintaining quotation templates for direct sales activities; Maintenance of Salesforce with respect to entering new product codes and pricing for Distributors and/or Partners contracts.
  • Provide Salesforce training of new sales employees. Regular follow up training of colleagues).

Key Funnel Operations Responsibilities

  • Provide funnel analytics based on Sales Force Dashboards.
  • Provide Installed Base (IB) analytics.
  • Continuous improvement of sales processes.
  • Accountable for reliability, timeliness and accuracy of the monthly Sales Cadence Analytics and related reports: Generate regular forecast reports for CCO, MT.
  • Analyse the funnel health and funnel coverage versus business commitments.
  • Analyse the Forecast accuracy and seasonality in the Funnel per quarter (Example: Q1=20, Q2=20, Q3=30, Q4=30).

The profile we are looking for:

  • Middle- or higher education with attention to languages, marketing or other related educational programs
  • Experience in business related activities, such as Order Management & Logistics
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical experience in combination with experience in CRM/Salesforce

What will your role be?

In this role you are responsible for the operational marketing plan of our QFR and XA product lines. This includes all activities from go-to-market approach to branding, pricing and also creating enticing promotional campaigns. Using market research to drive the right go-to-market plans and pricing. You are also the point person to deliver training to both internal and external parties, including but not limited to resellers and key commercial partners. 

The ultimate goal of all of your activities is to drive a strong growth in sales of the QFR and XA product lines. You will work closely with both our direct sales team as well as our indirect channel network to identify new product and marketing combinations, through solid business cases and supporting documentation. Together with the Product Manager, you will maintain a Key Opinion Leader and Key Reference Site network, to ensure a solid understanding of the needs in the market and the translation thereof to our product lines. Together with the Marcom team, you will manage the content aspect of all promotional materials and alignment to the overall product marketing strategy.

You will also be expected to travel to relevant international trade shows, where interactions with (potential) customers.

 

The profile we are looking for:

  • Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree business science or economics with a specific interest in healthcare.
  • Has a network in the healthcare industry, specifically in the cardiovascular imaging market
  • Preferably also has a sales/marketing education through either a MBA or NIMA-A or B.
  • Is a strong teambuilder, communicates easily and is a natural “connector”’
  • Has a strong knowledge of international business, our customers and the major players/competitors in the cardiovascular imaging domain.
  • Ownership and management skills to be able to lead the creation of business and marketing plans, new concepts and in general portfolio-wide marketing scenarios.
  • Experience in complex markets and diverse channel structures across multiple countries
