As our QA Engineer Intern, you will support both manual and automated quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

Role description

As our QA Engineer Intern, you will support both manual and automated quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll help write test documentation, develop automated test scripts, and contribute to improving test coverage and process efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with software testing, automation tools, and QA best practices within a regulated environment and an Agile team.

Key responsibilities:
• Write and manually execute test scripts for web-based applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using our issue tracking system
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Support the creation and maintenance of project test documentation

The profile we are looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and will remain enrolled during the internship
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Quality Assurance methodologies
• Some experience in writing and executing manual tests is preferred
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Familiarity with browser-based UI automation tools (preferably Playwright) is a plus
• Currently residing in the Netherlands and available for at least 32 hours per week for 6 months
