Full Stack Software Engineer

What will your role be?

We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in .NET and modern frontend frameworks, such as React (or an alternative).
Current Medis Software applications are desktop applications with some service. We want to move to a service-based architecture. This will move some of the processing power from the user’s machine to the server (think of zero footprint applications and scalability). We also want to be able to share this logic with different consumers, whether desktop, web, or partner platform/application. The applications are developed in C#/C++, .NET, and React.
The products you will work on, support medical specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients. The specific features are based on research and trends in the market.
Because we are a Software and a Medical Device (SaMD) company, we maintain strict development standards and follow ISO-13485 certification requirements, requiring thorough attention to documentation and quality assurance. This is a hybrid position based in the Netherlands, requiring office presence 2 days per week. Therefore, candidates must reside in the Netherlands.

The profile we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development, experience with React / Typescript or an alternative.
• Experience with CI/CD, using tools like Jenkins and GIT.
• Experience with service-oriented applications and various API architectures such as REST and gRPC.
• Experience with automated end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Knowledge of structured software development methodologies (Agile – Scrum).
• Experience in integrating with internal and external (third-party) systems.
• Knowledge of C++, 3D visualization or DICOM is an asset.
