What will your role be?

The primary responsibility of the Product Support Specialist is to provide best-in-class technical support and training to current and new customers.  The Product Support Specialist will do the demos, installation, upgrades, tests and troubleshooting of the Medis software in the clinical and research environment. Working together with the hospital’s IT-department and directly with end-users. This is a high-profile position where customers will expect to be supported and trained by a Medis expert who can work as a valued technical resource with all levels of hospital staff.      

The Product Support Specialist will be a member of the Medis commercial organization, reporting to the Installation and Support team manager. This person will work closely with Medis’ Sales members and Development team.     

The Product Support Specialist will support the sales team with expert product demonstrations, clinical insights, and technical knowledge.  This person will be responsible for the implementation of Medis products, handle product training, and work with the customer all the way to a successful go-live and/or retaining and maintaining the current customer base.  

The profile we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a (bio)medical imaging, Radiological Technologist, PACS Administrator or equivalent education and/ or experience.  
• Experience with DICOM connectivity and interfacing with modalities and PACS systems  
• Knowledge and experience with Windows OS (Desktops and Servers and VMs)  
• Deep understanding of software deployment and troubleshooting mechanism  
• Experience in the interventional cardiology field  
• Experience with TCP network protocols and interfacing for Server – Client setups  
• Experience with Clinical MR/CT/Ultrasound diagnostic imaging modalities  
• Familiar with the health care market (hospitals, clinics, radiology, cardiology, and imaging center)  
• Ability to interface with both internal team members and customers as part of software solution-based technical and sales approach  • Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful strategies for hospitals  
• Ability to design, lead and execute customer implementation and training projects with appropriate documentation  
• Follow protocols of the ticketing based system and proper documentation  
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and Jira
