We are looking for students who can dedicate 16-24 hours a week to manually annotate image datasets, which is crucial for modern image segmentation approaches that rely on Deep Learning (DL). The process of annotating huge volumes of image data sets by experts is necessary before starting DL activity/training. What will your role be?

Modern image segmentation approaches use Deep Learning (DL) to analyze many data sets as automatically as possible. However, to build DL solutions, huge volumes of image data sets need to be segmented/annotated manually by experts before the DL activity/training can begin. To realize these annotations, we are looking for students, who are willing to spend 16-24 hours per week on such tracings/annotations. After an initial thorough internal training, you, as a medical image annotator, will be the expert who will annotate all these data sets.

The profile we are looking for:

Interested and willing to learn about medical imaging
Preferably an education in medical imaging

Personal Skills and competences:

Ability to perform all communications tasks, written and verbal, in English
Ability to work both within a team and independently
Attentive to detail, committed and persevering
Accurate and reliable
Strong analytical skills
Flexible with a hands-on and pro-active mentality
