EuroPCR 2021: Reflections by Hans Reiber

EuroPCR 2021: Reflections by Hans Reiber

As Chief Scientific Officer at Medis Medical Imaging, I have participated actively in many EuroPCR meetings over the past few years. Since the introduction of QFR at the EuroPCR in 2015, I have witnessed a steady increase of interest by the interventional community in our QFR image-based solution for the assessment of the coronary physiology. This resulted this year in 10+ ePosters and presentations, plus live-demonstrations and a very positive QFR buzz at the Hub-tables. On top of that, the Medis Medical Imaging E-Blast to the entire EuroPCR community has resulted in a great response with 1000+ readers and over 400 completed the QFR Visual Interpretation Challenge that we created. Please visit our Social Media channels, as well as in our blog, to learn more about QFR.

In addition to the above reflections on the EuroPCR 2021, we would like to inform you that the number of peer-reviewed QFR-related publications continuously increases with now more than 107 papers (excluding any abstracts/posters), which all support the expanding clinical evidence of QFR.

We look forward to meet with you face-to-face at EuroPCR 2022, and in the mean time please be invited to follow our research and developments. You can subscribe to the newsletters in the footer below.

Kind regards,

Johan HC Reiber, PhD
