Medis is introducing new Deep Learning contours for the Left Ventricle in the long axis. This will reduce the time needed for both the long axis function analysis, as well as the longitudinal strain analysis. As a result of the new AI, these contours can be generated upfront for the 2-, 3-, and 4-chamber view, which makes manual drawing no longer needed. After checking the contours you can directly load them in to the Strain analysis to get directly, among others, the global longitudinal Strain parameter to measure the deformation.
